Real Life

Happy Monday morning everyone!

I know you see a ton of beautiful portraits and exclusive offers from us on a regular basis, but today I wanted to blog about the importance of a snapshot.

I’m just a regular mom, with 3 kiddos, and sometimes its a bit crazy in my house!  Shane & I are constantly running to activities, and we LOVE being able to do that for our kids.  Our clients are so incredibly considerate and know that our evenings and weekends are dedicated to our family time.  Well this weekend was no different!  We spent Friday night on the driveway playing with the boys and taking golf cart rides around the neighbor with a bonfire to end the night with friends!  Saturday included yard work and more driveway time. Sunday we all walked in a parade to help Shane’s dad who is running for legislature!  Whew!

In the midst of all of that Ava had the chance to stay with Grandma and Grandpa and ride her grandma’s horse in training for a little horse show coming up.  She was so excited!  It was the first time she’s rode with an English saddle and grandma Gail is the biggest horse lover I know!  Who better to teach her the right way!  I couldn’t be there but I’m so thankful for that little thing we take for granted each day…the IPhone!  They may not mean much to anyone else, but to me these 2 images not only showed me I’m so lucky to be able to allow her to do things she loves, but they will always be in my snapshots of memories that I keep through out the year to remind me why I do what I do, and why snapshots are the best way to remember all the little things that we tend to forget because life is way to fast.

Do I LOVE creating custom art for clients each week, ABSOLUTELY!  But please don’t forget to pick up the phone, or camera and grab some snapshots the rest of the year.  It’s the best way to create a legacy for your family and to remember to slow down and enjoy every minute with your loved ones!
